1. Villa Butler / Head Butler
Aloita Resort is looking for a warm, attentive, and hands-on Villa Butler to provide personalized service and memorable experiences to our guests.
The Villa Butler will be responsible for assigned guest accommodations, including Aloita Resort Villas, Sunset Villa, Makakan Estate, and Captain House.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and warmly greet guests upon arrival.
- Provide personalized service throughout the guest stay and assist with check-in and check-out.
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned guests and villas.
- Handle guest requests and coordinate with relevant departments.
- Assist with restaurant reservations, activities, transportation, and special arrangements.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service.
- Maintain high standards of villa presentation, cleanliness, comfort, and guest readiness.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, F&B, Front Office, Engineering, and other departments.
- Conduct regular villa checks and report maintenance or guest-related issues.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Assist with VIP arrangements, special occasions, private dining, sunset experiences, and personalized requests.
- Maintain guest confidentiality and provide feedback on guest preferences and service improvements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Butler, Villa Host, Guest Relations, Front Office, or similar hospitality position is preferred.
- Experience in luxury hotels, resorts, private villas, or estates is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English.
- Strong guest-service orientation and attention to detail.
- Warm, polite, discreet, and professional personality.
- Well-presented and confident when interacting with guests.
- Able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Hands-on, proactive, flexible, and resourceful.
- Comfortable working in a remote island resort environment.
- Additional language skills are an advantage.

- Service charge – additional and variable, depending on occupancy and monthly performance.

- One relocation flight to Mentawai at the start of employment, subject to arrangements.
- One return flight per year, subject to company policy and agreed routing.
