FINANCE DIRECTOR

PT Bumi Liputan Angkasa, operating under the Blue Sky Lounge brand, is a leading airport lounge operator in Indonesia. With 11 lounges across key airports and ongoing expansion, it continues to collaborate with airlines and corporate clients to deliver exceptional lounge experiences.
Recently, Airport Dimensions, part of the Collinson Group, formed a joint venture with Blue Sky Group through the acquisition a 45% stake in PT Bumi Liputan Angkasa.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Finance Director will play a key role in overseeing the financial strategy, reporting, and governance of the joint venture. This leadership position requires a strong financial acumen, strategic mindset, and collaboration with both parent companies to align financial operations and drive long-term profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the joint venture's growth objectives
- Lead the business transition within the finance function, ensuring seamless implementation of financial operations, controls, and reporting standards for the newly formed joint venture
- Coordinate and facilitate the transition of other business functions, working cross-functionally to streamline operations and ensure strategic alignment
- Prepare and deliver financial reports and analysis tailored to the specific requirements of the Board of Commissioners, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insights for informed decision-making
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations to the President Director
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes
- Lead and manage the Accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations
- Collaborate with the project team to develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring well-structured schedules, accurate budgeting, efficient resource allocation
- Support lounge managers and the operations team with timely performance updates, enabling adjustments and proactive actions to stay on track with budget and target achievements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal and tax requirements
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA in Accounting or Finance
- 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in hospitality or aviation industries
- Proven experience in business transformation, including financial system transitions, operational restructuring, or integration projects
- Strong business acumen and strategic financial insights
- Experience in finance operations, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel based on project needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
