- Chief Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all Engineering department operations including building maintenance. mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
- Develop and oversee Preventive Maintenance programs to ensure all hotel facilities and equipment function optimally
- Manage the department budget (OPEX & CAPEX) and implement energy efficiency initiatives: (electricity, water, gas)
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (K3) standards, fire protection systems and government building regulations
- Supervise renovation projects or major repairs and coordinate with external contractors or vendors
- Train and develop the engineering team's competencies to maintain high service standards
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Chief Engineering or Assistant Chief Engineering on international scale hotel
- Diploma Degree (03) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering is preferred)
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, medium voltage electricity, pumps, and building automation systems
- Professional certifications (General K3 or Electrical K3J are a significant.advantage
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure, possess strong troubleshooting skills, and be willing to work on a sniff system if necessary
- Responsible, disciplined and highly detail-oriented regarding operations
