The Transera Group was founded in 1996, beginning with property Development, Restaurant and Family entertainment venue in Pontianak and in Jakarta. These Operations accounted for the bulk of the revenues until 2010 when the first four star hotel was opened. This was followed in 2012 by the opening of the first group branded select service hotel, the Transera Hotel Pontianak. The group’s investment today continue to grow with the opening of Southeast Asia’s largest water theme park just outside Jakarta in Bekasi in February 2014, the Transera Water Park. Long term investment plans include both domestic and regional expansion.?
